We just got some photos back from a well-drilling project in Santa Isabel Retalhuleu, Guatemala. Led by Rob Merriman, our project team was able to get water flowing in the community after drilling 187 feet below the surface!
The new well will help over 600 people – including 125 families – access clean water locally instead of trekking great distances to collect contaminated drinking water.
While they were there, our team of Water Ambassadors shared hygiene lessons with children and adults in the area to help combat water-related illnesses spreading throughout the community.
